i posted a music video i made for my friends on here and it got taken down, probably because they were worried about copyright strikes but it was literally my friend's song! does the person who made the song need a newgrounds account and has to collaborate the post to put a music video up on here? im nervous cuz i was gonna animate a music video for a bomb the music industry song soon and now i dont even know if theyd let me post it.... idk. guys help me what am i doing wrong

I'm not sure if the song had samples from copyrighted music, as I didn't get the chance to see it for myself. But when it comes to music that's not on their platform, they can be rough around the edges. I guess you could try getting your friend to upload the music to Newgrounds and then try it again. If you're unsure on what to do, but you want to follow through to get this out however you can, you can ask staff on how you should proceed. Hope this can be helpful!
